01In short
The public pages of this website do not set cookies. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. A small amount of data is kept in your browser's storage, listed below, and nothing from other companies loads until you ask for it.
02What we keep in your browser
| Item | Where | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| sly_position_v1 | Local storage | Remembers where you left Sly if you moved him | Until you clear site data |
| sly_sleeping_site | Session storage | Remembers that you let Sly sleep | Until the tab closes |
| sly_seen:(page) | Session storage | Stops Sly repeating his remark on a page | Until the tab closes |
| aetheris_intro_seen | Session storage | Skips the opening animation after the first visit | Until the tab closes |
| aetheris_motion | Local storage | Remembers if you turned animation off | Until you clear site data |
These items are strictly for the website to behave the way you set it. They are never sent to us or to anyone else, and they hold no personal details.
Approved Aetheris staff who sign in to the private area also have a sign-in session kept in local storage until they sign out. Visitors never see or use this.
03Content from other companies
The Zimbabwe Simulator page can play development videos from YouTube. We load a YouTube player only after you press play, and we use YouTube's privacy-enhanced address (youtube-nocookie.com). When the player loads, your browser contacts Google, which may receive your IP address and device details and may store information under its own policy.
Our fonts are served from this website itself, not from a font service. No other third-party scripts, trackers or embeds run on the public pages.
04Your choices
- Clear site data in your browser to remove everything listed above. Sly will return to his starting place.
- Use the Motion switch in the website's footer to turn animation off.
- Your browser's own settings can block or delete storage and cookies. The website works without them.
05Changes
If we add anything that stores data or loads from another company, we will update this page first.
